Terms of Service

By installing or using WildPins you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the app under the supervision of a parent or guardian who has agreed to these Terms.

2. Your Content

You retain ownership of any photos, audio, or text you submit. By marking a find as “public”, you grant WildPins a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display it to other users in the app. You may delete public finds at any time, which revokes the license.

3. Acceptable Use

• Do not upload illegal, harassing, or sexually explicit content.
• Do not post false danger alerts. False alerts may result in account termination.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape the API, or reverse-engineer the app.
• Respect wildlife: do not endanger yourself or animals while collecting content.

4. AI Identifications

WildPins uses AI to identify animals. Identifications are best-effort and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them for safety-critical decisions (e.g., snake venom toxicity). Always seek expert advice for dangerous wildlife.

5. Premium & Subscriptions

Premium is offered as a one-time payment and/or a 3-day free trial. Payment is processed by Stripe (web) or your platform billing provider (mobile). You may cancel at any time from Settings → Premium. Premium removes ads and unlocks priority identification.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

WildPins is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that identifications are accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WildPins shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the app.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the user’s country of residence to the extent required by local consumer protection statutes; otherwise, the State of Delaware, USA.
